Accommodation

Accommodation has been arranged for our colleagues who are based outside of Edinburgh according to the following guidelines:

3+ Nights: Junior and Senior Leadership team members requiring a 3 night stay (Hackathon event)

2 Nights: Individuals wishing to travel the day before Audit Academy

1 Night: Individuals traveling on the morning of the Audit Academy

Gogarburn Business School (2 & 3+ night stays)

Transport from the Business School to the EICC

  • By Tram - Walk towards the main campus then walk across the bridge taking the steps on your left once across, turn left and walk under the bridge and you will arrive at the tram stop. Board the tram (20 mins) towards Newhaven and disembark at Haymarket.

Transport from the EICC to the Business School

  • By Tram - Once you arrive at Haymarket, board the tram (20 mins) towards Edinburgh Airport and disembark at Gogarburn. Walk under the bridge take the steps on your right, walk across the bridge and then follow the signs for the Business School.

Transport from the Delta to the EICC

  • By Bus - Walk across the road to the Maybury bus stop and alight the Airport Express, 100 Airlink, X18 or X38 and disembark at Haymarket.
  • By Tram/Train - Turn left (West) out of the hotel and keep walking till you pass over the railway, there will be a set of steps on your left or alternatively take the next left for step-free access. Take the underpass and you will arrive at Edinburgh Gateway. You can either, board the tram (18 mins) towards Newhaven or board any train (10 mins) from Platform 1 and disembark at Haymarket.

Transport from the EICC to the Delta

  • By Bus - Alight either the 100 Airlink, X18, X19, X39 or 31 at Haymarket bus stop beside the tram stop. Turn right as you disembark at Maybury bus stop and the Delta will be the second exit on your left.
  • By Tram/Train - Once you arrive at Haymarket, you can either, board the tram (18 mins) towards Edinburgh Airport or board a train heading to Glenrothes, Perth, Dundee, Leven or Cowdenbeath (10 mins) from Platform 2 and disembark at Edinburgh Gateway. Exit via the south-east entrance turning left as you exit the underpass or alternatively take the next left for step-free access. Then turn right and keep walking till you pass the B&M on your right, the Delta will be the next right.
